Warlords Battlecry 3: Battle Report @ IGN |
|
IGN has posted a battle report dealing with Infinite's RPG-flavored strategy game 'Warlords Battlecry III'.
Sometimes, one of the best ways to really get into the guts of a strategy game before you have the chance to play it yourself is to watch or hear about the strategies and tactics used in one of these matches. In anticipation of the next game in one of the better RTS series available right now, the guys at Infinite Interactive will be sending a series of battle reports from matches between some of their own, using different maps that will be released with or shortly after Warlords Battlecry III hits store shelves.
Today showcases a match between three warring races. The Dwarves, the Undead, and the Orcs really don't like each other very much and proved it in their battle 'till the death. So read on, check out the background for the map, the players, the battle plans, and finally what happened during the action. Who knows, maybe you'll pick up some tricks and strategies when you end up playing later this year.
|

After being slightly disappointed by Warlords 4, I can't wait for the full game. I'm trying out the demo now and it seems to play quite nicely, like Battlecry 2. Too bad they changed the campaign, which was like Rise Of Nations (actually, I think they stole it from WBC2). Too bad the graphics engine is still identical to WBC1. _________________ The world is small, nasty and complicated, and everybody dies alone... - Sam Fisher |
