Check your directx options (swich on/off some)- it might just work - same with the nvidia options - and finaly try the gothic ini for some extras - i hope it will do the trick

Oh my god!

Sorry. Had to.
Okay, now what exactly is the problem? Gothic freezes or PCCillin freezes? Do you have graphics or sound problems? How long can you play Gothic without crash?
I donīt know anything about WinXP, but whoever reads this thread will have all the necessary infos.

I recommend to update drivers for sound and video card. That is all.

Anyway, who in their right mind uses a tnt2 m64 on a p4 system. Its like having a castrated bull or something.
Do this...i know those screwy cards..they are the worst..but here it goes...go to bios and disable agp support.......or reduce it to 2x mode......I hear it works miracles. I will tell you that you wont run the game at all with the setup you have. You really need 512mb ram and a spanking card to make the game shine through.
Get a geforce2 buddy!

my advice..GET MORE RAM. try 512. more if you can afford it. ddr if you can afford it. and of course video drivers are always a must..specially with nvidia cards.

Me and my friend have played this game from start to end using Windows XP and GeForce 3 systems.

We have experienced no problems at all with our systems.

And yes. Uhm, I might have to tell you, that we are great.

Best Regards

Ram is not the problem here although more would be better of course, however, I feel that you should update your driver. You could use Detonator XP driver for your TNT2 video card. Here's the link:
