First....Killed Scar, got his kick-butt sword, (requires 70 STR), AND his AWESOME crossbow! 100 Damage...oh ya!
THEN, I went and came across Cord in the new camp and killed him and his two buddies, got the AXE from Cord...guys, this is a 60 damage ONE HANDED weapon!...requires only 40 or 50 str, and woops serious tail!
I was only level 14 with master 1H, str at 54.
I think it rules as a 1H wep, and am happy I got them...now only to build the Str for Scar's sword

I think it is good to mention that as a beginner, it was a good idea for me to get a GREAT CROSSBOW from "spanky" or "Spencer", or "scooty"...heck I forget his name....BUT he is located outside the old fort south gate. Just go up to the tree towards the swamp camp from old camp south gate. He is the one who warns you about the ORCS. Here is what I did:
I went to the orc dogs down road from him and pulled them with my bow, although you could prob. use anything. I ran as fast as I could straight to "scooty", or whatever, and then continued past to the rock down by the old camp gate....and watched as the dogs ripped him apart! I waited until they left, and took his wonderful 50 DAMAGE crossbow, and continued to level. I was at level 5 at the time, and had to get a little extra Dexterity, but it was easy 'nuff

wow... u dont say.
it reqiures a shit load of dex, and the cross bow of war does 100 dam. |
