Very sad Sammy.

* Lintra shakes his head and then hangs it in despair *

Cursing is a cheap way to add emphasis. It is much more challenging, creative and fun to read when the author takes the time to make a statement hit home with out resorting to profanity.

Heck, I curse in conversation, but the written word does not need it on a regular basis. Every now and then it might be appropriate, but it is way to easy to fall into the: "The f**ing thing wont f**ung do what the F*** it's f**ng supposed to f**ing do." mode where every other word is a curse.

Adds nothing, except un-needed wear and tear on the key board.

@Sammy: The chipping/shredding isn't always done in public.
Now let's keep the thread free of childish cursing. Thank you.

The last weeks I was hooked on WoW (my first MMORPG), at first I played a Night-Elf Druid on a PvE-Server up to Lvl 16, than a human Warlock on a RPG-Server (currently Lvl 26). Now I'm getting tired of it - nothing really changes (except some more Dungeons to explore ...) and it begins to feel like a treadmill. I went back to playing BG 2 tutu, this time with the Finch NPC-Mod. As a Bookworm myself I just love this Girl...(The Feather is mightier than the Sword, and much easier to write with or her Battle-Cry: Stand back and I won't get hurt!)

Kind of sad that after all this time BG2 is still the last really good RPG (at least for me).

Ok Val. Just curious Tiger here ='.'=

All im playing is World of Warcraft
Im fully hooked on WoW again, I cant stop playing it. In fact, I just got home from watching a movie over at a friend's house, and I rushed home so I can play it for an hour before I go to bed @ midnight. Or maybe I'll play til 1 am and go into work a bit sleepy

What did it?

Joining a great guild, it makes all the difference in the world. Ive played several characters solo and grouping sometimes with random people, and while it was fun, it just gets really boring after a while when there is no higher purpose. If you join a good friendly guild of people who are in it for the fun of it, it is a total blast, and a great experience. There is always someone to help out of need be, and there is healthy competition as well.
But it has to be a good natured guild, not all guilds are equal or worth a damn.

I would stay and type more, but Im racing to 40, and a glorious white tiger mount!

I picked up Sacred recently and have been tooling around with it. It hasn't sucked me in yet though.

Since I am currently dealing with a crushing workload and a missing wife (she's on a vacation I had to cancel out of (see crushing workload)) I needed something fluffy and linear with lots of eye candy and a good, but not too deep story.

KotOR 2 has filled the role with flying colors! Just enough to keep my sleep deprived, overworked brain distracted with adding to the overall load.

Let me be clear on the crushing workload ... last week I billed 115 hours ... that's 16.4 hours/day and does not reflect managerial time spent, but does have 10 non productive hours while flying (the rest of the flying time was working).

It never really managed to grab me either, but you should try playing multiplayer. Hardcore Closed has a very nice community, the other servers (Open internet and Softcore Closed) are like all other multiplayer games.

I'm back to Morrowind. Just installed the new wizards islands Mod and I´m trying to go to the new lands.

I've forgotten how large the game world is. It´s amazing.

It's all about World of Warcraft. I'd like to play something else once and awhile, but there's no time to do so. Heck, I'd like to watch a movie, but there's no time for that either

But it's fun, Im having a good time, Im just sorta locked into it from an interest and motivation to level angle, and also being pretty much the official Alchemist of my guild as well. Plus, the newbs I take under my wing....

I believe this is what has been referred to as "Happiness in Slavery"

Hey Sam, my son is currently TOTALLY sucked into World of Warcraft. Have no idea what his handle is, or what server he plays on, but if you bump into a (as of last night) L18 Warlock from Buffalo NY, be gentle to him!!

Anyway, glad to hear it is a good game ... one of these days I'll get a high speed connection at home ... then I'll have even *more* things I want to do that I won't have time for

It gets even more addictive once you do 2 things - get a mount (req lv#40 first), and join a good guild. High-level crafting is really satisfying too, Im getting into some killer potions that can really make a great buff or save yer neck in a jam, and make me alot of money if I choose to sell them in the auction house. So, he very well may be at the very beginning of his downward spiral!

But I dont know why Im so pumped on the game (and why he is), after all it's just like "Diablo", ask any of the experts, theyll tell ya

KotOR 2 - but this time as a dark side counciler. Not as tough a play as I'd expected ... in fact, I'd expected the dark side to be emotionally as draining as KotOR 1 - but so far it is not. I may not finish it up, but I am having a blast with it. For some reason, I find the Jedi in KotOR 2 to be easy to dislike ... the only one I might have trouble killing is the guy on Nar Shadan (sp?). I really liked him when I met him as a LS character.
