I have a GeForce 3 and I am having absolutely no trouble running the game. I would like to increase the view distance even further than 300. Is there a file I can manipulate to do so?

Thanks for any help I receive.

There's a file 'gothic.ini' where you can find a switch for this. But 300% is the maximum, I don't think that higher values have any effect.

You might change the clipping-factor.

1) change to dev-mode: [S]"marvin"[S]
2) open console: [F2]
3) enter command: "set clippingfactor x"[RETURN]

- x is an value in the range 0.1 to 10.0
- values higher than 4 should not have any effect
- default is 2 (if i remember right)

Nico

PS: option with less effect (if at all): decrease [ENGINE]"zLevelLODStrength" (for instance 1, default is 13000) in Gothic.ini
