This game may be a bit too old to discover any new ones, but I love playing around with the game and discovering freebes that were unitended by the develpers.
Because NOTR is so hard, *battle intesive) I'm going to spend an evening seeing if I can discover any new exploits. I have 3 dex potions so that's the first area I'm going to test out by . . .
1) Selling them to a various merchants and see if they increase their inventory of that item over some period of time.
or
2) Putting the potions in a various chests and then leaving the world (mines or Raven) and then coming back to the chest to see if it's increased. |

I can help you out of your dreams right here. Both won't work.
1. The items the mercants sell are programmed. Every chapter change they get several new items and nothing changes what they get.
2. Maybe if you plant the Goblin Berries you have more luck.

Didn't get a chance to play today so I'll try to test my theories out tomorrow. And YES, I am aware that the merchants get a new (or re) supply each chapter. But sometimes you just have to test the limits.
I've crashed the game a number of times by doing things in the game world the develpers never would have anticipated. For example, I've marched that magical rock monster all over Khorinis.
Anyway, the game has been out a while and it's not likley that I'm going to discover any new exploits. But I'll have fun testing things out. |
