I just started to play this game and have a few basic qustions. The manual that comes with this game is not much help.
1. How can you tell how much gold you have? I have sold several items, but don't seem to have any gold to buy things.
2. In the new camp, how do you give the joints away? |

1.the local currency in colony is ore, those purple things 
2.I think there should appear a dialog option when you try to talk to those rogues or mercanaries in the new camp.."do you want some swampweed" or something like that.

The manual is incomplete. Better download the walkthrough. The control and combat chapters are very useful.
