Hey guys, I am DEFINITELY a pc gamer, but I DO have an xbox. I know Morrowind is coming out for both, and I'm not sure which to buy. Why, you ask? Because my PC is an AMD 800 with a geForce 1 card and 400 MB of ram whereas my xbox has a geforce3 card or something better than my pc...i know the pc version is supposed to have the builder in it, and i don't think the xbox version will. I loved daggerfall (besides the countless bugs) but i want to be able to play this game with the best graphics possible and the least crashes. What do you all think I should do????

Well, I hate to say it, but with a pc like you have, you're probably better off getting the x-box version. If you had a higher-end pc, I'd recommend the pc version of Morrowind.

right, in your case you better go for the x-box version, in the system requirements they say a 32 megs video card, but i'm going for the pc because the editors(which they aren't in the x-box). I think graphically wil be the same in both versions.

I'm in a similar situation. Pre-ordered the Xbox version at Christmas...now I'm more undecided. I think I'll take whichever comes out first. Any insight on that?

That GForce 1 card will be big problem. But it will be big problem also for other games, so you may change it for some more powerfull and still economical solution.

Xbox will be like playing the game on a PC with a GF3 but at a resolution at 640x480( I think). If not sure if Geforce 1 will even be able to handle Morrowind...

I've been reading a lot of stuff and I don't see anywhere that the editor WON'T be included in the xbox version. the xbox supports hdtv and widescreen formats so i think with one of those the game will look great..but on a different note, i've been reading reviews of the geforce 4 mx440, and it's only 139.99 here..it got bad reviews as far as "if you have a geforce 3, don't upgrade, because the geforce4 MX is basically a very fast geforce2" but i'm thinking it'll be wayyyy better than mine, and for 130 i can't beat the price..so i may end up getting it on pc, but i so want something for my damn xbox!!

The Editor WONT be included for the XBOX. I've read this directly from the fingers of various Developers at Bethsoft in the Forumns and in IRC. What may happen though is that they have said they might package the best user made mods as a addon for the xbox version at some point in the future.

I'll get the PC version, though I will have to get a Geforce 3 or 4. I don't know which video card I'll get.

Get a No.3... I heard the GeForce 4 was actually a cheapo version of the 3 - the version released doesn't even know DirextX 8 commands.

If it won't run on my GF2, I'm just not buying it. I can't afford a few hundred bucks to upgrade.

They say that the Geforce2 won't work, as you need some newer form of hardware rendering.

Scratch one long awaited CRPG. My bank account is happy, at any rate.

My GF2 MX has that.

Maybe I'll go look at the site instead of running amok.
