DragonLance the Movie Update

I am going to take the advice of a reply and post what I know here. I started searching for information on the Movie about a year ago. At that time I was in Navy and worked with serveral people who knew people that knew other people and so on and so forth. Anyway I started snooping around and found a site dedicated to the movie project. DragonLanceMovie.com is the site. The site is mostly a lot of hopful people posting dreams of who will play in the movie if ever brought forth. I did dig deeper and I have personally spoken to someone that has worked on the LOTR. He is a Psudo-Director. I cannot give out his name but I swear the the info is reliable. Ok here is what I know. The rights for the option for the movie have been bought....by who I don't know. I have seen a list of people who may or may not be in the movie. The movie would take place during the Chronicles. I have also contacted Weis and Hickman about the subject. Weis was considerable angry that she was not consulted about the issue and Hickman was not saying much about it. I will continue to search for info and if I get any I will post it here.

Just for future reference posting basically the same topic twice in a row usually gets the second topic closed down. Moderators prefer that you use the 'Edit' button on your first topic to make the changes you'd like to make... in case of where someone has posted after you and their post no longer makes sense it's also polite to make a little note at the bottom saying edit: and summarizing what you changed. Edit is located in red at the top of your posts.
