You can buy a dwemer crossbow in the offical plugin for area effect arrows. It creates a new shop in Vivic and also has some area effect bolts which can do a lot of damage on top of the 30 from the crossbow. |

just use the one that looks cooler, or is your favourite.
My favourite bow is a iron longbow (1-20 dam) that i have stolen from palegiad fort.
I steal all the arrows i ever nead. Got 700+ iron arrows so far, all stolen.

yep but crossbow shoot far much faster than bow (min. 1.5x and up to 2x)
so if we calculate dmg/sec:
even: 1.5 x 33 = 45 dmg / shoot time of bow  )

The 1-50 damage range of a bow doesn't mean that it will shoot at 25 half the time
The reason all bows start at 1 is because you can release them at any point through pulling them back. If you wait for the arrow to be pulled back the maximum amount, it will do the max damage. The best bow I've found so far is the Bonemold which does 1-30, but 'bounding a bow' does what? 1-50? |

...ok you guys are marksmen... and youve never gone to the fletcher's shop in vivec? , the woman there SELLS a dwemer crossbow! and a daedric bow! not to mention she has HUGE amounts of supplies for marksmen, all sorts of arrows , from steel to ebony, glass throwing stars, and area affect arrows if you download the offical plugin at www.morrowind.com i suggest anyone who wants to be/is a marksman go and download that plugin NOW! (the plugin's name is area affect arrows(dont worry theres area effect bolts too), but for some reason i never noticed the shop before i got the plugin... i never looked for it anyway, go get it ! its offical!) |
