A few questions

1. Once I have selected a spell and used it, I cannot for the life of me get back to a situation where my sword is equipped - there done's seem to be any way to tell the game that I don't want to spend the rest of the game carrying a used up spell.

How do I switch back to a weapon?

2. Is there any way to get out of the water? Jumping doesn't work.

3. How do I open all the treasure chests in the sewers? I can't seem to bash them open, and I can't lockpick.

Check the tutorial by pressing "?" in the game. Also, I would hold up on playing it until the english patch 1.4 comes out, which should be any day now. The German patch 1.4 was released about a week ago.

- You activate a spell using 'F' and return to sword using 'Q', IIRC

- Getting out of the water *does* work with jumping ... but it is a royal pain in the butt. Once you get it, though, you're golden.

- Unless you chose some lockpicking skills, you can forget picking the locks in the sewers (or if you have a time-slowing spell/crystal). The level 1 chests should be easy, but higher ones fly by so fast it is rediculous (as opposed to later in the game, when they are so slow you will get whacked by losing attention )
