vdmsound, dosbox, and ultima 8

I'm trying to play ultima 8 with sound and music. I go into dosbox and run dosdrv under the vdmsound folder to load the driver, but after it loads the dosbox automatically closes. How do I prevent the dosbox from closing?

I'm not sure it'll work. The Pentagram team is currently working to make Ultima 8 playable in Windows, just like Exult makes Ultima 7 playable. Check their site out here.

Just figured it out. Once I installed the vdmsound program to my hard drive, I just right clicked on my dosbox shortcut on the desktop and clicked on run with vdm and voila. Kickass.
