NOTR-magic bow

I picked up the magic bow and it equipped itself replacing my previously equipped composite bow. The problem is that both bows are now highlighted but the composite bow can't be re-equipped or even dropped. I dropped the magic bow and equipped another bow which shows properly as weapon 2 but the composite bow is still highlighted in red and can't be used. Anyway to fix this?
edit: OK, found a solution. I noticed that if I did a transformation, the magic bow would always equip when it was over. So I dropped the magic bow, transformed and everything went back to normal when I ended it. There seem to be some problems with the magic bow.
