Have a concern... all burnt up houses? Where are the cities?

I know it's early and I haven't seen everything... with news of the Orcs winning the war and overtaking the cities... I'm getting a little worried here. I haven't seen one single normal looking city yet. Everything are burnt up looking houses and homes that the Orcs (I'm guessing) have destroyed.

There will be nice, majestic looking places, right? I am worried about nothing? Just wondering if anyone else knows about this.

BTW, I loved the first two Gothics.

We only have seen pictures of farmer's houses, they are saving the cities for some later time. There will be around 20 large cities, I can't believe those will all be burnt down.

Well I think 3 or 4 cityes will be enough I like better camps like swamp camps or mercenaries camps you know it's more romantic

well even if there wouldnt be any bigger citys it would kinda rock , i actually never liked LEGAL[for example like Khorinis in G2] citys in RPGS but for example like Old Camp was cool those kind of bigger settlements or smaller villages or camps are mostly cool also. Anyways trust PB they gonna do theyr work perfectly again like allways

I have to agree. Gothic 1 was unique for the lawlessness it portrayed. It greatly increased the atmosphere. I'd really like it if there was a sense of chaos and the eradication of the social/legal structure in Myrtana in the wake of the orcish victory. Like in War of the Worlds. Sort of a "Oh my god, the Orcs(aliens) are coming! Every man for themselves!" type thing

KaiRo said that on WoG after the question from a forum-visitor what was considered a city. I personally think they consider Onar's farm also a city.

I'm guessing G2 had 3 "cities", just like G1. And I'm guessing most of the 20 settlements will be Onars farm size.

I hope they have a run down city like the harbor district in G2, and a nice rich place like the upper quarter in G2. but i hope that they are seperate cause i want a place to make fun of poor people and nice place with a big house.

He made clear that itīs not 20 cities like Khorinis. A couple of houses count as a "city" in this context. The mag just misunderstood it.
