As the days towards Morrowind's release become utterly thin, I can't stop but think what I may find in the world of Morrowind. I know there are a ton of creatures, enemies galore to fight against, but I was wondering if there were any dragons. Obviously, I haven't seen any screens of them. Having not played the previous games, Arena and Daggerfall, I don't know if they had something to do with those games.
PS- I'm new to the boards! I've been reading posts for a while, and only recently decided to register. Like many of you, I am awaiting Morrowind's release, counting the seconds... |

I dont remember any dragons in the first two games. However, I didnt play Daggerfall all the way thru, but I did finish Arena and dont remember any dragons. It was long time ago though. Lets hope for dragons though! |

I could take a dragon down with my bare hands alone. |

Thanks for the welcome! I feel the love
How did the dragons become extinct? I haven't played any of the previous elder scrolls games (You guys still like me, right?), so I am completely ignorant about the history of the series.
Perhaps in Morrowind there will be information on their extinction... |

Wow, that is the most complete list of any Morrowind beasts I've ever seen. Really good, since the game isn't even out yet! Thanks!
Well, I guess dragon's could fall under Air Born, and the Cliff Racer (as well as a few others) look a lot like dragons..
My favorite monster so far is the fattie with the nipple ring. |

Is it just me or does the Kwama Forager look like un-processed spam?

One of the Dev's, Wormgod(GT Noonan) has a personal project working on a dragon model plugin for Morrowind. I've seen a pic of the model... It looks really good. Although I don't know if he is working on animating it now or what... So anyway there should be some good plugins to add stuff like dragons. |

Awesome! I'd like to fight a dragon any time- I've never done that within a game before. Except for maybe in Spyro. |

Could a moderator/Admin mark this thread as a spoiler? I didnt realy want to be told about any monsters before I played the game
No bad feelings, but I realy thing it should be marked as a spoiler. |

they're extinct in morrowind because of the blight, personally I think they're really "extinct" in morrowind because they where to much trouble to model and work out the cliping problems that would come with a creature as large as a dragon.. and they're was a dragon in daggerfall, you didn't fight it, just converse with it. |

I'm sorry but I don't see any spoiler material... If you consider the mention of a couple of creatures spoilers then you shouldn't be reading any Morrowind info or look at any screenshots of the game |

I consider a mention of specific creatures a spoiler. I havent seen hardly any screenshots with monster in.
I am not trying to be argumentative. I just think its a good idea to mark it as a spoiler if it has any specific information about something you would discover while playing the game.
I dont think things like what classes are and what they do is a spoiler because this will be in the instruction manual. |
