I just checked it out. It just jumped to the top of my most wanted game list. Actually it knocked every other game out of the list...

I just have to say amazing (wait you already said that).

I realy hope that this game is like the zelda games on the N64, because Zelda The Windwaker did not realy......well i just didn't liked it.
This is the FIRST Zelda game i bought and didn't finished!!!! lol
The graphics of the new one realy look cool and are not as childish like Windwaker.

I dont think the problem with the Windwaker was the graphics. Personaly I didnt have a problem with them (I like the realistic and the cartoon versions equaly).

My main problem with the windwaker was the fact that it was all at sea. It removed a lot of the elements that I loved from the other Zelda's, such as exploring the landscape, finding all those hidden goodies (That stupid treasure claw thing doesnt count).

Also the tradition of world transitions (Dark/Like: Snes Zelda, Future/Past: N64 Zeldas, Seasons etc: GB Zelda's), was completely ignored, which I was dissapointed about.

If they had done windwaker on the land, and made the wind stuff a little more complex, I would have liked it a LOT more...

I think it's a bit of a shame they've ditched the cel-shading. Those new movies look impressive technically, but it just looks like any other game now. I never really wanted to see a super-realistic Link or Hyrule. I would have liked to see them improve the cel-shading to acheive something with a painted look, like in the exposition scenes in Wind Waker, or the current multiplayer Zelda on gamecube (I forget the name).

Oh well. I was overjoyed when Miyamoto & Nintendo stuck to their guns with the cel-shading for Wind Waker despite some fans' objections, I guess now it's my turn to accept a look I don't want. I'll miss the great smoke and fire art in particular - those so-so flames in the new movies look weak by comparison IMO.

I agree with Chekote about some elements of Wind Waker's gameplay being weaker than the Zelda norm, but I loved the art style. Sorry to see it go.

I forgot to say that this is also sucky in WindWaker:
No Zora's, Goron's, Masks and no changing into something, for example into a Goron.

I dont like this realistic Link very much, Its a little bit to realistic in my opinion.
Its indeed like any other game now, but......we can't judge this game now.
Anyways i dont like the Windwaker look, I just want the N64 look again.

I've played all teh zelda games. I really liked the look of windwaker. I'm actually kind of bummed it's going back to the N64 look. But I suppose I'm in the minority opinion on that.

The gameplay however, should be great no matter the change in looks.
