Well I've finally done it.
And I must say, I reallyliked the way the endingwas done, with all the little story tie up's. Very impressive. I wish more games did this.

But what to play now?

I think there should be different endings for different allignments. What was yours?

As to what to play... Arx Fatalis? Great game - recently discovered it and very impressed.

My ending was full of hapiness and bliss.

As I killed Zuggy, Iuz, Hedrack and Lareth everyone was safe and felt good!
Hommlet became a city and the Temple was wiped out for good.

And the Chaotic good quest was to find some elven prisoners (or something like that) they went back happy and treaties and alliancies were formed.

As for next. I've played Arx, I was impressed a lot as well. Looking forward to the second one. (To anyone in the UK, JoWood has released an RPG compendium with Arx, Gorasul and another I can't remember on it for just 10 pounds - a bargin! (If you havn't got any of them))

I think I'll try some modules for NWN for a bit.
I'm desperatly trying NOT to play Gothic 2 till the addon comes out. Its my favourite, but I reckon the 1st time experince will be so much richer with all the addon bits. I keep cracking though and having a little run about.

Why did you kill Ziggy?!

As to NWN modules - yes, I think it is a good decision. There are some excellent ones.

Dunno how long in game hours I'll have to check when I'm at home and not abusing my work time about 40ish I'd imagine.

stanthony: What modules do you recommend? Was thinking of trying "The Song of Fire and Ice" for starters.

Both "Harper's Tales" - nice and interesting

"Witch's Wake" - as close to P:T as it can get, and this one is from BioWare developers.

I liked "Pool of Radiance" remake ok. There is also "Eye of Beholder" remake, if you don;t mind classy dungeon crawl. I think EOB was remade *very* close to original, every map, every corner etc. "Midwinter Festival" was nice, too.

In fact there are some nice sites were you can get fairly objectve reviews of modules and select the one you like.

EDIT: Oh, and I hadn't chance to try "Song of Fire and Ice", sorry

Can you give any idea of how easy it was for you...by that I mean I keep seeing people complain that they can't do this and they can't do that...but then I see people that completed it with no problems and who had a blast.....thanks!

How easy? *shrugs* I had to reload on occasion. But that was more due to poor planning on my part before I charged in to deal with baddies.

Yeah, I agree with Val. I wouldn't say it was dead hard of anything. A few reloads, due to rushing in regardless and a few of the elemental node bosses were quite tough, but nothing too bad. The odd reload was needed thats all.

The hardest bit is if you're not a D&D expert, knowing what feats or spells to take for your characters. (eg Not taking Fireball as soon as you can!!!) But I'm sure people on here would have some good advice.

I completed it with just my 5 chars, so if you find it difficult, just take along a few henchmen, should make it a lot easier.

Actually, henchman make it harder because they get first pick of all magical and most non-magical treasure you find.

Which is why you only hire them as distractions for the boss battles.

The case of NPCs hoarding items is one of the most annoying things. Is this actually a feature of 3.5 ruleset?.
