man, morrowind was a BIG disappointment. first it looks impressive, but after few hours, you realize that it's all hollow. everybody gives you the same pointless lines (and in written text, at that) and the quests redefine repetitive. much ado about nothing. |

how so? people keep saying that, but imho gothic looks WAY better than morrowind. i've got a fast computer and played it (morrowind) at a very high resolution using ALL the effects and it still didn't impress me one bit. well, the water looked nice but that's thanks to my gf4 really. part from that it's all very plain. no facial expressions, the animations are anything but smooth and lifelike (i mean they don't even sit down for christ's sake!), the trees look like sh*t and well, it's all very 1998. i'm at a loss here, people keep saying that it looks great and i keep thinking that heretic II looked better.
to sum it all up: i've never ever seen better and more lifelike graphics than in gothic. never ever did a world seem so real. |

seriously though, every games with breakthrough in graphic also "break" your system performances...It's unavoidable. i could imaging that when Doom 3 come out, its will squash my computer flat as a pancake. *sigh*
i hope Gothic 2 have nice graphic without sacrifice on game performances. They should in every possible ways tweak the game to run smooth in average gaming system. _________________

hehe we all know if Doom III will come out then we need the TOP PC to play it like i seen it in the trailer the shadows the creatures/zombies are like in some kind of real life and well thats cool that those deverlopers who created years back Wolfenstein , Doom , Duke Nukem etc they will make the series better and better |

Duke Nukem was by 3DRealms/DIP (the former JAM)... the guys who created Blake Stone and R.O.T.T... not by Id.

imho, morrowind was immersive for a while but after about 20hrs of gameplay u start to feel that u're really alone in MW. immersiveness sucks not because the graphics aren't awesome (they r actually) but nobody in mw has a life! _________________ DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO TAKE WHAT I'VE GOT? |

I'm curious about "Duke Nukem Forever" by 3DRealms, it seem that the fans (include myself) is doomed to waiting forever for that game to finish. _________________
