This a joke right? If someone wants a special forum, the easiest way to do it, is to form a Usergroup, get 10 people to join and you get your own forum!! You'd also measure the lack of real interest. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

Hmm.. well I agree that Betrayal at Krondor was a good game at the time, but currenty there games that are way better than it. BaK was my first RPG for the computer I played.. I think I was 8 or 9 when I did.. I'll admit that I did not understand fully what was going on, but the combat was what interested me. Four years later I revisted the game and had a blast playing it. But the game was really linear and to obvious. The only thing that became interesting were the locked chests which you needed to answer the riddles. I spent a long time trying to solve them lol..
But like I said, BaK was really linear. And got really reptitve and soon I was forcing myself to finish it.
BG2 has its qualms, as does gothic 2... but you have to be a complete nut to think that BaK has elements that makes it 100% better than these games. All of these games are linear, but gothic 2 and bg2 provide atleast some new elements that someone today can enjoy, which includes a decent-good storyline. BaK storyline and plot was horrible.
Get off your high horse and play something current. |
