Finally made the connection on who the Judge was...

OK, call me slow but I am just now realizing that the Judge in Khorinis is the same guy reading your sentence in the Intro of Gothic I. Same yellow outfit, same funky hat, same voice.

Now I know why he was saying "haven't I met you before somewhere.."

(I got a sort of G1 nostalgia this evening and fired it up for a bit....)
