Freedom?

Greetings,

I started playing Ultima IX not long ago and I really love it, mostly becouse of the freedom. I'm also a fan of Gothic I/II, I really love to just be able to walk around, explore, collect items, converse with NPC's and so on.

Whice games have this kind of freedom? Anyone who have played the Gothic games will know what I mean.

Thanks
/Rawis

lol, after reading your first sentence I was going to recommend Gothic 1 & 2!

You could try Morrowind. It has unparalleled freedom (OK, its prequels Arena and Daggerfall beat it for freedom, if you fancy some good old DOS gaming), but you'll probably find it a little soulless compared to Gothic.
