I cant open the final door in Irdorath Temple...I have the Eye of Power but when i walk to the door and press action key my character just stays there doing nothing...is this a bug or am i doing something wrong? |

Did you talk to black magician before you killed him?
Did you read letter from black magician (there's a magic formula, which opens the door)? |

You don't need to talk to him, but you do need to read the letter. I don't like to get too close to people I know I'm going to kill. I got him from a distance before he even knew I was there!!

Ok, thanx for a tip. I didn't know, if you need to talk to black magician. I've talked to him and also I try to talk to everybody I meet (except seekers, of course  ).
I finished this game as a paladin, and I killed a lot of tough monters from a distance with holy bolt rune. But I think it's not so funny than killing them only with the sword Therefore now I play new game and I'm planning to kill everybody only with my sword. So if I've payed 5000 gold for consecration of my sword, I want to use it (or I payed a lot of gold for nothing? ) |

Yes i have talked to the magician before i killed him and yes i read the letter five hundred times...but he still just stands there? do i have to activate the Eye of Power somehow? it pisses me off, cuz i can't finish the game when im sooooo close |

Hmm, it seems, it could be a bug  . I think you don't need to activate Eye of Power (I don't remember that I needed to "activate" it or do something special with it).
If there's no possibility to get through this door, use cheat.
Activate marvin mode, stand directly in front of doors and press "K". |

There’s a room to the right of this final door with a chest in it. Look in the chest, to open chest you need the key you will get off of the black magician after you kill him |

Sorry ...  But I had forgotten what exactly was in the chest. I just knew it had the item that would open the door. I’ll have to try this again to see if the Eye of Power has to be activated. I thought I had found the item walked up to the door and selected the eye of power and the door swung open |

damn i finally managed to open that door...just decided to stand at a different andle and viola...the door is open...The dragon was way too easy to kill...I played gothic1 a long time ago, but i think sleeper was harder to kill...and who is that undead dragon anyways? if it isn't Beliar |
