Do you mean a Bag of Holding or similar? You'll be able to buy them from merchants or find them as loot as you go along. They're not common earlier in the game until you get to an appropriate level. |

IIRC, "Magic Bags" are available from a merchant in the city core, but they're rather expensive for a low-level character. There are 4 different grades of "magic bag", varying in the amount of weight reduction they give, and then the "bag of holding" which gives total weight reduction.
Like Dhruin said, they're all rare as loot and expensive to purchase. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

While we're at it, welcome to the boards. Feel free to post additional questions if you like. I'm slogging through Chapter 2 of the official campaign, so much of the early game is still fresh in my mind.
edit- that's FREAKY, Dhruin. Simul-posts and IDENTICAL wording to boot. Someone call an old priest and a young priest... _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

I have loads of questions, you may be sorry you volunteered, lol. 0k, for a starter, How do I return something, eg: Torrins' ring to his brother? How do I talk to people using the radial menu, eg: asking someone to join me? How do I use the Stone Of Recall, and can I use it to return to Anywhere, or just the temple?
As I go thru the game I find the handbook answers bugger-all questions, instead it has loads of 'tables' that mean nothing to me |

If you have a quest item to deliver to someone, then simply talk to them. There should be an option for acknowleding the completion of the quest.
To access the radial menu for someone, right click on that person. Feel free to explore the menu options and get familiar with each. A pop-up text will tell you what the option is. These are all actions you can do to that person. Talking, attacking, etc.
To use the Stone of Recall, open your intentory, right-click the stone for it's radial menu and activate it. It will return you to the Temple for a fee. I believe you can also use it to return to the place you last teleported from. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Thanx Val, but that doesn't seem to work. I've tried talking to the person about the completion of the quest and returning the item, but to no avail.
I've been using the radial menu to try to talk, but that doesn't say what I want.
I'll give the stone a go tho. |

Hi Sherrin,
One note on the quest items. Sometimes there are portions of the quest that you have not yet completed. Although the designers did a pretty good job at anticipating ways players would activate quests, there are still things that have to be done first or last before the rest of the quest will work.
If you've gotten stuck on a specific one, post or pm as much info about that quest and I or one of the regulars here will help you.
Hope this is helpful! _________________ Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

It sounds like you might have found the ring before you got the quest? This happens regularly if you don't talk to every named character you come across. Take it from me. If that's the case, you have to have two conversations with the quest giver- talk to them to get the quest. End dialog. Talk to them again to complete the quest.
One tweak to Val's advice- talking to a non-aggressive person/critter is the default option, which means you can left click on them to start a conversation rather than going thru the radial menu. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Thanx to both for the tips, However, I talked to Jermaine before I found the ring but, as you say, maybe there's more to it. It's all so new to me, I get confused easily |

I remember now! Torin's Ring doesn't go away once you've completed the quest. It might have some low-level magic on it that you can make use of, but I don't think so. Check your journal to make sure the quest is complete, and then track down a friendly merchant. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

You can't sell it because it is a quest item (unless this is fixed in recent patches). Just bring the ring back to his brother, get some experience and gold. |

That's what I'm saying.... I can't get Jermaine to take it back No amount of clicking on him will get a response. The best I can do is leave it on the floor. |
