Everyone!
I have an announcement to make that will change the very course of all of your lives!

I have a Geforce 2 MX400 64MB on my old computer...
And I ran at 1152x864x32 perfectly.

1024 x 768 x 32 is actually playable in my pc but it slows down a little too often and when i cast spells, it almost freezes.....

its hard to believe how pathetic the gf2 mx 100\200 is.......

i just hope it can run gothic2 smoothly at 640 x 480 x 16 smoothly

(sigh)

if you ppl think im lying, send me a private message and ill tell you my adress, go here and see how pathetic my vid card is

Hey guys im new here and I'd just like to say that I love Gothic and I am extremely excited about G2.

The moment I fought a battle in Gothic I fell in love with 3rd person RPGs.
I just wish they would release the darn demo soon cuz I as well wanna see how it runs on my computer. Anyways nature is calling and I must answer it so farewell for now friends(-I hope).

It´s more about knowing your hardware, incompability and conflicts, than just the numbers. For instance, hardware sound is known to cause slowdowns. Soundblaster Live is having conlicts with Via-chipsets, and so on. And of course drivers. Not only for graphics, but for anything and everything. Soundcard, motherboard etc.

As for demos, one nice way of demo-making is when they reales a demo that isnt based on the actual game, but the game-environment´. Like Half-life and Jedi Knight 2. That way you get a feel for the game, without playing it.
