| We must do something about addon but what?? |

 It is proposed any way in order to we can help the addon to see the light?
It exists any way in order that if it has frozen , they continue it, and if it is continued to saying us at least when it will come out.?   |

i think it just might be around the same date as the release in Poland
see SEMI OFFICIAL INFO:
The Polish release date through CD Project is 07/15/04! The game will most likely be in Polish.
This is inside the summer so it could be correct |

That is just the polish G2, and has nothing to do with the add-on.
Instead get the add-on translation mod and use that, works fine. As long as you understand the text in some way, it works, so that should do it

I do not want to use the mod because I am sure that i will not like it if i will play the game with English dialogues and German voices.
He is not physiologic.
Moreover I do not like the German language when it used in a game. |

What do you want to tell us that you liked to read English dialogues and to hear German voices?
In any case for me i dont like it.
Expect if the game were also with English voices.
And if it is good with the mod from where i can take the addon. |

i must agree with jackie, but my patience is not unlimited.
I'll wait another month and if there is no news by then, i'll buy the german addon.
But I played the demo of G2 in german and I must say with some dialogues it could work out great.
But there still is the problem of buying it online |

dont know what about u but i think its a great oportunity to learn some german language + voice actings allways been better in german language in gothic series at least in 2 part and in addon they were nicely done |

Besides, when I'm playing Gothic, I want to be concentrating, not trying to read a script while some german voice says something I can't understand. It completely destroys the immersion factor, which is one of the great things about Gothic.

That's your problem then. Doesn't take me ages to read the text, not to mention that reading the text is faster anyway then speaking of it. If you don't want to use the tools freely available already, then there's nothing what you can do about the add-on, other then sit and wait until, or IF, the add-on will be released. Talks so far are all very "round" and there's still zero information about it from Atari.
So, all what you can do about the add-on, considering you do not want to use available means, is to sit there and wait and hope, that it at some point in future will be released. Nothing else. Meanwhile the rest, who do not have such high demands on linguistic features, enjoy the add-on with the freely available tools

yup and u very lucky then maybe u get the english gothic 2 addon somewhere inside summer whitch means somewhere in july but thats again more rumors i think |
