It's not oktober, it's september. So it's one month earlier.
I'd hoped it would be here before the summer vacation. I don't have a lot of time outside of vacations. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

I agree, I am afraid I will spend much too much time playing Gothic III when I get it and that may complicate things as I am going to high school next year. But I think no Morrowind, Oblivion or any other game would make me miss Gothic 3 less. Gothic is classic, I love it! |

I don't mind the wait, I just hope they don't end up going back on the whole "English version will follow very soon after the German release" and we end up getting the German version in sept. and then the english version in 2007... |

started playing BG 2 again to pass the time until oblivion get here, I'm pretty sure that PB pushed the release date so they won't clash with oblivion. _________________ "We're still flying"

Yeah my thoughts exactly. Or maybe they faced something unexpected troubles in the development process. In any case now they have more time to add content and polish the code . _________________ The focused mind can pierce through stone |

The release of G3 has nothing to do with Oblivion. G3 will be released in september because it will be finished in september - that's all. But i must admit ,it's a piece of luck for G3 that it will be released later. But for us goths it's annoying like hell. |

This answer from PB Mike could explain something:
100.) Since Gothic 3 is the largest project you were working on there surely are unexpected problems getting in your way and which may even delay your workd. It would be nice if you can give some examples. by Error404
Some things didn't work as planned at all. For example the usage of licensed technology. You think "Super, we buy an engine, a physics system and a cool animations system and everything will be fine (even very fast), since we don't do everything from scratch by ourselfs." Then the insight comes: To make the systems capable to serve our purposes and to stand the amount of data, many parts of the licensed technology had to be reprogrammed. That's not good...
But many problems we face right now have been foreseen and we've got useful solutions for them - I guess we're getting better.
So long, see you later. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

well I'm playing oblivion, I like it somewhat but I still think that the elder scrolls is inferior to gothic in many ways, ohh well at least it passes the time. _________________ "We're still flying"
