| InXile acquires Wasteland? |

<a href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/" target="_blank">No Mutants Allowed</a> have posted that InXile may have acquired the rights to the classic game Wasteland, which the Fallout series was later based on. InXile is Brian Fargo's (Interplay founder and old president) new company. This information is based on an Interplay <a href="http://forums.interplay.com/viewtopic.php?t=27385&highlight=" target="_blank">forum thread</a> on recent US Patent Office filings by Inxile.

<br>InXile previously made a similar filing for Bard's Tale, so it would seem Fargo's new company wants to revive two classic franchises. Fingers crossed! |

Wasteland is still on my PC and has been played this year along with Bards Tale.

Meantime wasn't going to be a Wasteland sequel. It was going to be a time travel RPG based on Wasteland engine. |
