hi
there are 2 boxes ,one you can open and one
you need a key for. the left one you can open.it's alway's good to be a master in
picklocking(level 2).

Stand in front of the chest
Save
Try the combination, breaking as many lockpicks you want.
When you run out of lockpicks, or sucessfully open the chest, Load the game again
Now use the correct combination (that you should know by now.

What? thats what I did.
I saved, had a pen and paper, worked out the combination, wrote it down and loaded. Without doing this imagine going through all the chests in Gomez's Tower. |

lockpicking is completely useless, just save right before you try the combination, or just beat up someone whos selling lockpicks and take them all, blah |

Heh, the Gomez tower comment...
I did that...I just kept trying the chests with "0" lockpicking skill and reloading the game with only 3 lockpicks.
It took a long time, but I eventually did it.
Right now I just killed the minecrawler queen...man, that was some eerie stuff, reminded me of Aliens with all the darkness and only a small light to see.
I am arachnophobic, and these minecrawlers remind me a lot of spiders.
Still, Thief spiders are the scariest...some levels of Thief I won't play because of them.

Hehehe Gomez' Tower...
Just did that last night. Had 0 skill in lockpicking and about 96 lockpicks on me. I did an occasional reload after breaking TOO many lockpicks, but not too many. After about 30 minutes I figured out all the combo's for all chests and was dissapointent there weren't any more floors with chests
All in all I wonder what to do with all my loot now. I got over 3000 ore after buying the heavy shadow armour, and I still got about a 100 pelts, claws, swords and other weapons, etc.
But I like the idea of playing a traitor and robbing everybody blind to get what you want . This is the first time a game makes me play "evil"
