Last door lock

Ive landed on island - ive killed orcs ive found entrance to some hall after the brigde... ive unlocked 3 locks and i have prob with last - no matter what i do i still trigger the poison gass - plz help

The same which room -> the switch in the middle is always the First.
Only two possibilities remain:
[middle, left, right] or
[middle, right, left] try it out.
(one room has only 2 swithes(i think) -> middle, left)

BTW:
If you activate the two switches on the left site and a lattice moves up, you must go down the stairs on the left site... if a lattice moves down, go up the stairs on the left site.
On the right site it is exactly the same.
