Dransik in-game event

This Saturday, an <a href="http://www.dransik.com/" target="_blank">in-game event</a> will take place in the world of Dransik: <blockquote>The Priesthood of Kuthos reveal that Dransik has been infiltrated by Dark Jesters! They are plotting to give Sabal, Goddess of Chaos, the power to remake the world. Join us on Saturday, March 29, from noon to 1 pm Dransik Standard Time for the battle to thwart the Dark Jesters, and save the whole darned world already! The Dark Jesters will be fast but relatively weak in combat, and led by Asylumsoft staffers. How many staffers can YOU slay? Each Dark Jester carries a special prize item!</blockquote>

One question that is in my mind since the first time I read about in-game events in online games:
If I am not online this next week, do I happen to notice this event or did I miss something?
