Since i'm a newbie, i was wondering which guild to join; mercenaries or paladins. I like the style of the mercenaries, but since they can't use rhunes i'm having my doubts. |

It's all up to your personal taste - the Paladin is the better allrounder while the merc is a pure fighter. Both classes are easier to play than the mage class.
Personally, I prefer the Paladins because they a) look better and b) generally are the nicer guys. But if you're into bullies, well, go ahead and join the Mercs  .

The first two times I played I played a Merc…and liked it. The second G2 game I played a Mage and liked it even better. I liked the story.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm gonna join the mercs and after i beat the game with them i will try the mages. |

Nothing could please me more than being a good paladin daytime and robbing their chests and houses at night.

Just finished playing as a mage - it didn't seem that hard. Looking forward to doing it again as a paladin or mercernary. |
