athlon 900, 256 ram, DDR geforce, win 2k, xgamer sc.

whenever i talk to urshak he gets to the point about his brothers beating him, and me needing a ulu mulu or something, then gothic crashes. this is the first time i have ever had any probs with Gothic crashing, and i want desparately to go on... but i cant. without failure, "Stranger no die if have ulu-mulu!" CRASH!

Sounds like an trashed wav file to me.

Try to backup your saves and reinstall the game.

Maybe your comp is really tired from playing Gothic all the time

When a played Stronghold at 2 oclock (in deep night) computer said to me: Oh master it is too late, isnt it?
(it is true, very interesting - programers of this game put there this funny feature)

Tip in Baldurs Gate 2:

"When your characters can stay awake a long time without eating you cannot"

Something like that, on a loading screen

I've noticed that if I play for a hella long time during one sitting, that the game tends to lock up when closing and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del and close the program from the window.

Kinda annoying, but it's the only nasty I've experienced with the game to this point.
