Did u find out what u got thrown in the barrier for in the first place in gothic ? and do u think it will have ne berring on ur life in gothic 2? being an escaped criminal and all.

You find out why he was thrown in the barrier in Gothic 2. My guess is that it is pretty bad since there's a bounty on your head.

Well, they threw anyone in the barrier, even for the slightest offence.

Yes, you're supposed to be a criminal... but remember, you're not the only one. There's hundreds of criminals all around! All the mercenaries, shadows, templars etc. have also gotten out! A group of mercenaries are even fighting the kings guards...

I guess you have a lot of friend who're also on the wrong side of the law. Plus it's not like they kept a long list and photo ID of all the prisoners so they may recapture and imprison them again.

hehe all those ppl who were thrown into colony were loooooooooong forgotton allready cos nobody ever got out of it ever but our hero changed it .....

His "crimes" list is pretty long then. I bet he did some crimes with a "good causes", a la Robin Hood, eh?. It's unlikely the developer would says the hero was mass murderer, serial killer, stalker.....
