Money

Does money get infused into the univese occasionally? Or is there a finite number of credits available?

One way it enters is through missions, although I'm sure that isn't the only way. Good question, though.

I have never found money to be a problem in this game. Going by the stuff Xen has bought, I don't think it ever will be!!

There's an infinite amount of money available which only makes sense. Think about how may inhabited worlds there are and what their populations are.

If Earth can make trillions of dollars a day, how much would a galactic empire with average populations of 500,000,000 + per world?

Xen, I was just curious as to what your net worth is up to now? You must own at least have of the universal gold supplies.

I haven't played for a few weeks... my girlfriend decided she really, really likes being at my apartment and I'm squeezing EVE online in during the hours I can. I feel bad for doing it but I've gotten her hooked on Final Fantasy games. I played X2 while she was busy with FFVIII, and I can sneak in some EVE time now that she's having fun with FFIX, and FFVII and FFX are also sitting there waiting to be played. When I last played I was easily up to 500 million in net worth.

I'm fully planning on putting in a few solid hours/days/etc when patch 1.4 comes out. EVE is every bit as addictive as X2 and is filled with the fun of interacting with humans, though... and customizing ship equipment. I love tweaking starships in these types of game.

YOU are the king! I will probably be lucky if I don't starve to death out in some far away sector, alone and lost.

Take your trusty disco, max the speed, and run some BBS M5 missions when you find them and you'll have your first million in no time flat.
