Hello all!
I see alot of people want to get their hands on the English Gothic 2 addon. Well i could tell something about the english version.
I know that the English version of the addon will be released this year.
When? well im not going to say that.
Have some people already looked on the Jowood website?
Jowood said there going to release a new Gothic title this year nobody ever tought that they meant the Addon?

Until they have officialy anounced the english version of night of the raven, I won't believe any news/rumours about the addon.  |

Its no rumor.I work for the Jowood UK Team.
I dont have anything to do with the game and its release date, but i asked about it with my colleagues for my son.

Well, if he works for the jowood UK team he could give us he's email adress there for example XXXXX@jowood.co.uk or something :O, and we could send him mail and see if he replied |

If I worked for UK JoWooD would I live in England? Would I not have a british accent indictive in my lexicon?
The english statement from JoWooD is amibiguous. It states 'another release of a derivative of the Gothic series' which could have meant the release of the German Gold Edition in March 2004, or maybe the English add-on, which I doubt since they specifically mention add-ons later in the paragraph directed at said games except for Gothic.
I would conclude they were refering to the German Gold Edition release. There are a plethora threads on this subject.
Atarti bought the right to sell Gothic outside of Germany. Atari does console now and dropped alot of the minor third party games, including Raven and Falcon 4.0 gold: OIR.
If we are lucky, JoWooD maybe will pick the game up to publish after Atari contract whatever expires. An English add-on probably exist since the voice recording were finished back in September 2003.
Since PB is no longer working on any add-on -either the English Raven add on exist now and someone is sitting on it, or it will never be released.
We still do not know the fate either way officially.
I would like to know, since I would try to tranlate the sub titles into English and use it on the German Gold Edition once the price drops enough.
After April, lose all hope as far as I am concerned.
