A speech speed multiplier.
Has it been done? If not, can it be done?
I want them to talk as fast or faster than I can read the subtitles. Encouraging me to listen rather than read. |

Turn the subtitles off.

I don't believe the speech player in G2 is advanced enough that you can play a .WAV file at a faster rate.
Korplem is correct, though. You may turn off the subtitles if you do not want to read.
Open Gothic.ini in Gothic2\System folder. The values that control subtitles are:
subTitles
subTitlesAmbient
subTitlesPlayer
subTitlesNoise
Search for these entries. |

I advise you not to touch the folders(only if you know)I've tryed things like change the sky color or make the range of view 400% and it worked.But I wouldn't touch this if I were you.You can simply press esc to skip the speechs.

Ehm. As far as I know, the subtitles can be turned off in the setup menu. You don't have to change the config files.
But correct me if I'm wrong. |

No I wanted to say to make them talk faster(it's funny when you hear them ).I didn't use the files to turn of the subtitles.

You all think I'm a newbie or something. 
I use the subtitles to get through dialogues quickly because the voice acting is too slow.
It kills the atmosphere to continually click through the dialogues. (Right-click works to skip lines of speech.)
btw, does anyone remember how to get the Snapper armor for free in Khorinis?
There was a way to climb onto rooftops then drop into the guarded room. |

Leather armour, not sure though.
In the English version, you can climb the cabinet near Thorben and then jump over the rooftop. However, I can no longer do that in the addon. Dunno why ...
You can cast a Sleep spell at the guard, though.

Coming from blacksmith's (harad) go behind matteo shop.
Climb the broken wall and try to jump on matteo's roof, then jump in the storeroom.That worked in the addon
