In case you missed it, V1.2 is available now. I couldn't find a list of fixes, but I haven't run the exe yet (there might be a readme stuffed in there). _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

HOLY CRAP !!!
Im getting this X2 game next month for sure! Right now im playing Gothic2 but after Gothic2 im getting this X2 game instead of playing EVE Online because its so much better to be able to load up a saved game instead of starting all over when ur ship gets obliterated (or so i hear). I have another one called Edge of Chaos Independence War2 but i never did get into it because the only thing you can do is be a pirate...
If you are still playing could you fill me in on whats happening? Also, is there a place on the internet where i could get very detailed information to replace the scanty manual? hehe...
so next month (April) i will have a ton of questions for you, im sure...
and i hear you can PROGRAM your ships to do stuff on their own? woah, im good at C++ so this is attractive to me for sure.
well, i will see you next month. |

A lot of the more common things are scripted in through software updates you can buy your ships.. but the modding community has ways of getting their own scripts in, so it's definitely do-able.
I love this game. It's like Privateer on crack. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

A mod support kit has been released with the v1.3 patch. A script compiler is built into the game. Full documentation isn't finished yet but many scripters are off and running on their own. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |
