no i took daniceks advice and rose my piety and vitality up to 100. but with the cane of corpus, values that high arent necessary cause youll be kicking butt anyways. in the beginning of course was tricky. my advice is to go to arnika asap and buy two nunchucks then go back to monastery and beat up metal slimes all day. when your level 15-20, go kill Barlone. also, at the beginning of every fight, cast all your spells until your out of mana. your magic skill will increase very rapidly
