i'm wondering if something has gone wrong. i'm at the castle in the valley of mines and i've just got the mission to go find the troops of scrapers. Now i swear i read somewhere that he marks the positions of them on a map of the valley of mines. i got the map off him but no markings! so i dunno where they are grrr >> well i say that i could find them from info i got off people but still...
so are you suposed to get the markings or not...? |

I think that's a known bug. Do you have a save from befor talking to him? You might have to reload and get the map again to get the marked map. It only happened to me once but it was my secod time through so I knew where they were already.

yeah its ok now cos i found them anyway, i had already been to diego and one other so i knew where they were and the others where near that tower. On chapter 3 now  and got some dragon slayer armour or whatever it is called from Bennet together with my orc slayer  lovin it
one question if anyones reading, how or where do you get magic ore? i've tried using a pick axe on the lumps of em in the mines in the valley but nowt happens...  I neeeeed 5 to give to bennet, think i have 1 or 2. |

You can find ore in the mines near onars farm were dexters bandit camp is.

Did you get the one by the ship? There is one on the ground near a dead convict in VoM. There's 2 you can get for doing 2 quests. 1 in ch 2 or 3 and 1 in ch 4. Did you make a deal with Halvor the fish monger, if so, he has one for you also (in a fish  ).
