First of all, Welcome!

you haven't spent much time on the missions, did you?

Pyrokar mission :
Go near the Black Troll, in a forest after the bridge there will be a hidden path, go there open the chest there and there will be an empty runestone.
Go back to pyrokar and you've done one.

then you'll keep the empty runestone and will make the fire arrow by learning it at the library (talk to the guys there untill they teach you.)
thats the second trail.

You need to steal the sacred hammer from the basement of the monastary, after you pick it up, Run like hell outside the monastary.
Go to the path that leads you to the black troll, before you go on the bridge there will be a magic golem behind the trees, only the hammer can kill it, after you do so. you've dont the test of fire.

You can put to sleep guy guarding the hammer (SLEEP spell), and simply walk out of there without worries.
