Fileplanet has just opened the first all digital online game store (Well, the first one I have ever heard of anyway).

Only thing that realy concerns me, is that surely these games should be a LOT cheaper since there is no distribution costs involved? They seem to be exactly the same price as my local store....

I am interested to see how it does.

I don't have the habit to buy over the internet... it's too risky IMO.

There is no risk if you use a credit card. The credit card company is responsible for rectifying all fraudulent activity. If someone rips you off, then you just call the credit card company and they have to take the charge off immediately.

Besides that point, I have been buying stuff on the internet for years and have never had a problem.

That is not determined by ebay, it is determined by the individual seller.

You need to read the details of the bid to find out shipping information.

You can calculate costs for shipping from the U.S. to Jordon on that site.

I think it's safe to assume that games which come in the small boxes or DVD boxes don't weigh over two or three pounds. If they don't come with a manuel, then they'd probably be around one pound. Also, it'd be within the size restrictions for Letter Post. One could just send the game in a large padded envelope.
This calculator will work for anyone that uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) to ship their products. If they use FedEx, DHL, or UPS, then I'd assume those shipping companies have similar calculators online. Just visit their websites.

Just a small tip, when shipping internationally, have the shipper mark the item as a gift. It'll help avoid pesky duty fees that your customs office might apply. I remember some poor guy who called me up and was freaking out because Romania's customs office had put a $100 duty fee on a coffee maker he had sent to his mother for Christmas. He had marked it as merchandise. It's a pity we couldn't help him.

So, either have them mark it as a gift or feminine hygiene products. You'll get about the same result.
