Disciples 2: Servants of the Dark Review @ Gamespy

Gamespy have handed out a red card to Strategy First in their review of the second Disciples 2 expansion, Servants of the Dark. Citing not enough new content the score is 50%, which translates to 'poor'. Here's a snip:
But it's just not enough. What makes Shadows more of a slap in the face is that there's absolutely no reason why the content wasn't included in the first expansion. Strategy First is charging $20 apiece for both add-ons when there should have been just one expansion with all four mini-campaigns bundled together for a low price. With so little new content, it's simply inexcusable to charge a total of $40 -- roughly the price of a brand-new game -- for a smattering of new scenarios, a random map generator, some new music, and a few bugfixes. While veterans of the series are bound to be upset by the lack of new goodies, even those new to the Disciples franchise are getting the short end of the stick because the expansions are sold separately. In essence, you're paying full price for a game that was released a year and a half ago.
This score is based entirely on the (lack of) content as the gameplay remains largely the same as the original game which received high praise.

I think you have to take everything into account when you rate a game and that includes if the game is essentially a rip-off.I have to come back to the example of Morrowind. For 50$ you got about a hundred hours in the original game and I don't remember anyone complaining about the price of the two expansions and thats because there was substantial content in both.Blattened greed is just plain ugly.
