frustrated with Al-Sexadus

If Al-Sexadus is supposed to be in her sanctuary, do I need to recall her again? Or is there something that I have to do before I can see her? I disarmed the savant's tower. I reenter the room using the initiate's badge, and all I can see is an orange cloud above the alter. I have tried using the dark nectar again on the alter but it just sits there, as does everything else I try sacrificing. Or do I need the player that is heartbroken to use the dark nectar?

If you've already met her to become a templar, then you are looking for her in the wrong place. You need to leave the castle and return to the Rapax Rift. When you come out of the canyon (from the courtyard), you'll see a teleporter to your left, and a big vault door to your right. Use the Beckoning Stone to unlock that vault. This will introduce you to El Dorado. Once you deal with him, A-S will be waiting for you inside.
