Drakan: Shadows of the Past

Has anybody heard any updates on the development of this game? I really enjoyed Drakan: Order of the Flame and Drakan: Ancients' Gate. I hope this game will see itself through.

Last I heard, Sony owns the rights to the game Drakan, and surreal software can't make any games without thier permiision. There is a rumour that Sony may contract Surreal to make a PS3 version of Drakan, but that is only a rumour. Besides, Surreal has been highly successful with thier Suffering game, so they may not be interested in revisiting Drakan. More likely, some other company may make the sequel, or Sony may just keep it mothballed.

Sorry, thought you were looking for the official sequel. I happened to look up your title and found the fan-made site. Don't know what the status is on the fanmade game, but I doubt it sees the light of day. Sony is known to be very protective of its copyrights and probably will send a cease and desist letter if it ever goes to far. Yes, even if it is free.
