Arx Fatalis is the kind of game I've been waiting for since Ultima Underworld, so the thought of an AF2 is enough to start me drooling. However I've read that JoWood is in a very bad financial shape, so I have serious doubts of this ever hapenning. _________________ "You may win a thousand fights, but you can only lose one" (Zaknafein to Drizzt - The Dark Elf Trilogy.) |

Try it... one of the best games I've played in many many years. Completely openended, you can do whatever you want whenever you want.
Tons of quests. Much longer than Arx, if you try to do every quest.
I love it

Yes, Morrowind is definitely a masterpiece...
Everytime I continue a game, it's at least 7 - 8 hours before I fall asleep with my forehead on my monitor. Otherwise, I'd just keep playing.
Because of this weakness, I haven't touched it in months. Currenly only in the 'teens as far as leveling goes..
Anyway, about Arx, I like it a lot. It has definitely created it's own niche in my heart. And hopefully will continue to be as appealing until it's completed.
I only bought it yesterday. |
