Is it normal that when you first install the game you can use the auto-update and not later?
Basically when you install the game it is version 1.0 (I keep it simple). You launch the autoupdate and it finds a version 1.19. It says "ok, I'm downloading patch 1.0 to 1.19"
Fine, several days later you try to auto-update and it says: "I cannot file 1.19 to 1.21". I dont want to have to uninstall, and reinstall so that mor*n can find the patch file "1.0 to 1.21"
Is it a bug or am I missing something here?

Did you modify the single player campaign modules? If you did, that's your problem right there.

What do you mean by "modify"? If you mean using the tool or something, no. I just played the single player quest and installed several modules.
I changed the video settings and stuff like that but no "inside" changes
