Old Demon Tower in The Valley of Mines

Hey All,
I have defeated a Demon and a bunch of Skeletons in the old Demon tower in the Valley of Mines. There is a gate or porcullis of some kind in the room where the Demon was. Is there any way to open it? I,ve searched for switches to no avail. Please help. Thanx.

It can't go open as far as I know. In Xardas new tower in Khorinis there a similar gate. That one can be opened indeed, but I didn't think the one in the VoM could be opened too.

Sem is correct. It doesn't open. Nothing in there anyway.
