Raw Ebony for thief quest in Sadrith Mora
   

I need 4 pieces of raw ebony for a quest in Sadrith Mora. Is there some nearby? Or will I have to travel to like Balmora again?

you can find raw ebony in that dwarven ruin right outside of Balmora, just across a bridge by the Fort (you have to turn a crank arm to open the door)...I'm lvl 3 mage and the guys in their are pretty easy to kill...i had to go through some trapped doors to go further down.
