| cannot destroy meteor (with rings) |
|
hope someone knows what im doin wrong... i have both rings, and went to destroy the meteor, with the rings on, but it drains my mana and wont be destroyed... ive been doing the game quest by quest, so i dont think i missed anything. by the way, im on xbox. thanks in advance! |

You have to touch the stone, not hit it. Just get up there and click on it without weapon.

i have "just clicked" on it, and it seems like its gonna break, but it stops. not sure if i did it without a weapon equipped. thanks for takin time to write! |

Are you wearing both rings? You have to equipe them for them to work on the meteor.

i am having the same problem. i can't destroy meteor i have equiped the rings and unaquiped weapons i've walked up to it and clicked on it but all it does is drain my manna i have an xbox version what is going wrong? |

Sorry no one replied to your post. I have a doctor's note as to why I missed it. 
Seriously, I sent an email myself to Julien Roby at arkane and asked him to come and read the posts and see if he can help. I have no clue as I don't play xbox version.
I suppose you can always use the cheat and put the koltk powder in your inventory that way. Read the pdf file for xbox version for how to do it. Last page, 95 I think. Hopefully J. Roby will come and help you guys out.

I sent an e-mail too, and got no reply. But I will look into this cheat, if for no other reason than to "finish the book" so to speak.

Just so you and future readers know. J. Roby told me he gets a ton of emails, and it may take him a while to get back to you. If he doesn't reply in a few weeks at most, just send him another one. He may have lost it, got caught up with other stuff and forgot, or it may have been deleted by accident. He has always been very helpful here to players.

Im think of it a lot, because on pc i have this problem once, and i tried to do it severeal times.
At last, im found out that im able to destroy the meteor, when i go to the altar from the goblin prisons. The entrance is opposite the door where the goblin guard sleeping near the beginning of the game. There is a brick on the wall. This is work only when you have both rings if i correct...
Maybe this helps.
