While on the topic of mods...will you translate the docs to English this time?
I'm sure there are creative people in the English scene too that never got a chance since the docs were in German.
Translation/transformation of the docs is almost complete. |

K,good to hear Gorath.(not that I can do anything modwise, but I'm sure there are people who can )
Oh yeah...another question for Tomtom...do you know if we'll get more interactive women this time?
I mean since it's no longer a prison they should be just as alive as the rest of the people...at least on the level of diggers and such.
Also...any knowledge about if we can pick our own char. this time or is it like Gothic so we have one predefined and that's it?
Only answer if you feel you can without voiding some NDA...don't want to lose you now that you're here. |

I would say we've got the same hero this time around. After all, he said flat out 'that was only the beginning' of his adventure.

Is Tom Tom dropping subtle hints or what?
I'm just wondering if any of the fab 4 will be making a guest appearance. Although not in a pink teddy I hope! |

Ah, women you can talk to, that's my dream for Gothic 2. Maybe we'll even have a chance to get a girlfriend this time too. |

Ok TomTom,I'll wait your answer.
About things in Gothic 2B should make some other unusefull things, like make weed, smoke on water pipes, digg some ore, from Gothic 1,also yes, would be interesting to speak with womens in Gothic2 and I hope the girls will have the same sexiest outfits.
Personally,I think Gothic 2 will be a serious competitor for Morrowind.
Good rpgs are waiting us this year!

K,Xen...I can live with that.
Hulk, yep that would be nice...maybe one finally can get a GF then...
About Morrowind...I really don't see them as competitors,at least not if it's more or less a bigger Gothic.(which is what I expect...and have nothing at all against)
Gothic was a lot more adventure'ish with a strong story, linear gameplay and so on which is more or less the exact opposite of Morrowind...
I'll most likely get both...if I'll pass one of them off it'll be Morrowind... |

Anyone know a definite release date for the American version of Gothic 2? I'm sure it's been posted somewhere here, but I can't find it if it is. |

I don't think it's definite, but rpgdot has it listed for October I think.(Gothic2 listed for it...I think we'd get a worldrelease or close to this time)
I would guess that is a fair estimate unless they stumble over some major bugs...
If you check the "release list" on your left it's in there.(if you don't have the frame,go to the main site http://www.rpgdot.com ) |

Hey guys,
sorry, but I can't tell you too much...hope you understand, we've some contracts with our publisher you know?
- But I think we can help the guys who want to talk to women...
- And yes, like said above, the adventures have just begun...
- An official release date for the US is not available right now, there is also not an official release date for Germany or some other territory...
- Personally I'm looking very forward to Morrowind.
- I think some more or less useful things and skills will surely be implemented in GOTHIC II
@Paladin: Fab4???

Yep,that's why I added the NDA disclosure part up there...thx for the info.
BTW,make sure everyone at PB is working *really* hard...no unneccesary brakes like going to the bathroom or eating or some other trivial thing... |
